Welcome to the home page for Mr Bonney's Technology lessons. This year i will be teaching both year 7 and year 8. The content for the year 7 lessons is based on a broad range of very exciting technologies which will help you to understand how when why and where technology is useful. For example we will show you how to use film and presentation software so that this can be used to help in other subject areas.
The year 8 content is based on 2 projects, an automata and a balancing toy. This will involve both design work and practical work in the workshops. The design element will be covered using a mixture of formats and presented using keynote on the imacs in my room. The practical workshop lessons will obviously focus on the making side and will invlove using the designs from the design lessons and making this a reality.
